What You'll Need:

- 1 cup of paneer, cubed

- 1 onion, finely chopped

- 2 tomatoes, pureed

- 1/2 cup of yogurt

- 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste

- 1 teaspoon of cumin powder

- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder

- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder

- Salt to taste

- Fresh cilantro for garnish

- Cooking oil

How to Prepare:

1. Heat some oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.

2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until fragrant.

3. Mix in the tomato puree, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook the sauce until the oil separates.

4. Add the yogurt and stir well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

5. In a separate pan, lightly fry the paneer cubes until golden brown.

6. Add the paneer cubes to the sauce and simmer for 5-7 minutes.

7. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Special Tip:

To enhance the flavors of this dish, consider creating a par-cooked sauce by preparing the tomato-onion base in advance. This will allow the flavors to develop and intensify, resulting in a richer and more delicious Paneer Tikka Masala.
